The structure

How promotion works
The promotion mechanic is cumulative qualifying activity over a rolling window (commonly monthly or quarterly). "Qualifying activity" typically means total deposits or total settled turnover — bonus-funded turnover usually counts at reduced weighting or not at all. Maintenance works the same way — if activity drops below the cycle threshold for your tier, the account demotes one tier on the next review. The qualification window is rolling, so a quiet month doesn't immediately demote a Gold account, but a series of quiet months will. The structural reality of any VIP loyalty programme: it rewards play volume you would do anyway, not play volume created to chase tier benefits. The cashback uplift at Platinum vs Bronze sounds substantial, but it applies to losses — and reaching Platinum requires sustained deposit volume that generates the losses for the uplift to apply to. The honest framing splits players into two camps.
